Dr. Osei A. Bonsu
Dr. Bonsu is an Honest, hardworking, result oriented, self motivating and innovative person, with over thirty years working experience and is very passionate in all that he does.
He has a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) and Master of Veterinary Science (MVSc) degrees. He also possesses a Master of Public Health (MPH) and Master of Philosophy Public Health degrees. He is a Registered Member of Ghana Veterinary Council. He was President of Ghana Veterinary Medical Association(2010-2014). He was Board Chairman of Accra Abattoir Company Ltd and is currently the Chief Executive Officer. He is also a board Member, Volta River Authority Schools. Dr. Bonsu is a member of the World Veterinary Association, Commonwealth Veterinary Medical Association
He has worked at the Ministry of Food and Agriculture(MOFA) in the following capacities: Laboratory Technician(1978-1982), National Service Person/District Veterinary Officer, District Veterinary officer of Ga Rural(1990-1995), Disease Control Officer, Peri Urban Milk Production Project(1995-1998), Head of Public Health Unit(1998-2004). He has also held the position of Area Manager for Africa at FamilySearch International.
Dr. Bonsu volunteers at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a Self-Reliance Specialist, teaching and motivating members to become self-reliant. He’s married with five children and love’s reading and listening to music.
Peter Osei-Asamoah (Lawyer)
Prof. George K. Aning
Professor George Kwame Aning, a Veterinary Microbiologist, holds the degrees of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (Ibadan) and Ph.D. (Liverpool). He was appointed Coordinator of the Veterinary Medicine Programme (2009) and Foundation Acting Dean of the School of Veterinary Medicine, University of Ghana between 2010 and 2014.
Before this, he was Associate Professor in the Department of Animal Science, College of Agriculture and Consumer Sciences (2006-2009) and served as Head of that department (2007-2008). He was Director of CSIR-Animal Research Institute (2003-2006) and has previously been Lecturer, Senior Lecturer and Acting Head of Department, Animal Production and Health at the Federal University of Technology, Akure in Nigeria (1983-1992).
Professor Aning has conducted research in the area of control of infectious diseases of livestock and poultry in Ghana and Nigeria. He has been involved in several collaborative research projects with scientists in the UK, USA, Nigeria, Kenya, Tanzania and Ghana. He has published extensively in peer-reviewed journals and conference proceedings and is sole or co-author of many Consultancy Technical Reports
Rubby A. Golo
Rubby Afua Golo is the Founder/CEO of Global Trade Consult. Rubby grew up in West Germany where she had her basic education. She came back to Ghana in the early 1980s to continue her education and then finished her degree at the Central University College where she read BSc. Human Resource Management.
She has served in a diplomatic mission (British High Commission, Accra) for seventeen (17) years as a Trade Development Manager. With seventeen years experience in international trade she has very strong knowledge of the Ghanaian economy including sectors such as the Oil & Gas, Education, Agriculture (including Livestock and Fisheries), ICT, Healthcare, Creative Industry, Food & Drink etc.
With her extensive skills in organizing sector specific and multi sector trade missions to Ghana especially from the United Kingdom. Her previous and recent clients include London Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Advantage West Midlands Chamber of Commerce, Birmingham Chamber of Commerce, Trinidad & Tobago Honorary Counsel, Accra (helped organized the first South Trinidad Chamber of Commerce Oil & Gas mission to Ghana), UK West Africa Action Group and South London Export Club, EduExpo Fair 2017/18/19, EduCanada 2018 on behalf of the Canadian High Commission, Financial Innovation Seminar on behalf of the Israeli Embassy to Ghana just to mention a few.
Rubby has event management skills and has successfully organised many HM Queen Elizabeth’s Birthday Parties, British Council Award ceremonies, Pennwell Oil & Gas Conference and Exhibitions, Annual Ghana CWC Oil & Gas Summit just to mention a few local/international events.
She recently founded Global Trade Consult which supports foreign companies interested in doing business in Ghana. Rubby sees her job as helping overseas companies export their products and services to Ghana successfully and putting them in touch with appropriate public/private contacts and stakeholders. She is extremely keen (passionately comes to mind) to ensure overseas companies achieve their business success in Ghana by helping with their market visit, trade missions, meeting appointments, identifying appropriate agents/distributors, organizing seminars, exhibitions & conferences, product launch, sector research etc.
She is married with a lovely daughter and very devoted to her family.
Dr. De Fenzy Sodza Schandorf
Dr De Fenzy Sodza Schandorf (Aquatic animal health specialist) is a consultant with the Fisheries Commission of MOFAD Ghana.
His academic and professional expertise spans Animal Health and in particular Aquatic Animal Health. He has since 1987 been involved in animal health and policy shaping and capacity building in the Livestock sector and the Fisheries sector subsequently in Ghana.
Dr De Fenzy Schandorf has participated in several initiatives including the Ghana Food Safety Policy, The Aquatic Animal Health policy, The Investigation into the beaching of Cetaceans in Ghana’s Waters, the West Africa Regional Fisheries Program and has also been involved in the training of Veterinary Surgeons, Staff of the Fisheries Commission and Fish farmers in Biosecurity and Fish Health Management.
He is a Member of the Veterinary Council of Ghana and has been the President of the Ecological Organic Agriculture Platform of Ghana since 2015.
